Corrugated board manufacturing process
Corrugated board is a lightweight structural material made of paper or cardboard that is commonly used for packaging and shipping. It consists of a series of parallel longitudinal fiberboard papers (called the "core") and two outer sheets of paper (called the "face paper"). These paper cores and top paper are formed into a concave and convex staggered corrugated structure through a special process, thus giving the corrugated board excellent compressive strength and impact resistance.

These paper cores and top paper are formed into a concave and convex staggered corrugated structure through a special process, thus giving the corrugated board excellent compressive strength and impact resistance.
The corrugated board manufacturing process usually includes the following steps:
1. Raw material preparation: Use waste paper as the main raw material, and select different types and qualities of paper according to requirements. The waste paper is first processed through processes such as sorting, cleaning and crushing, and then a certain proportion of water and binder is added to form pulp.
2. Papermaking: The pulp is evenly spread on a large screen, and then through natural drainage and water pressure, the water in the pulp is gradually discharged, and the fibers in the pulp are gradually intertwined to form paper.
3. Corrugated paper core production: A certain number of papers are stacked on the corrugated paper core machine according to a certain pattern and spacing, and then the paper forms a corrugated corrugated paper core through the action of up and down pressure.
4. Tissue paper production: Place the prepared corrugated paper core between two pieces of tissue paper, and then bond the corrugated paper core and the tissue paper together through adhesive.
5. Drying and processing: Send the bonded corrugated boards into the drying room for drying to gradually evaporate the moisture. Then proceed to processing, such as cutting, embossing, laminating, etc., to meet different usage requirements.
6. Inspection and packaging: Conduct quality inspection on the produced corrugated boards to check whether their thickness, density, strength and other indicators meet the requirements. Then packaged according to specifications and requirements for convenient storage and transportation.
It should be noted that the corrugated board manufacturing process may vary slightly due to different production processes and equipment. The above steps are only a brief introduction to the general manufacturing process. Manufacturers often make process adjustments and improvements as needed to improve the quality and performance of corrugated board.
